Re: Directions to North Adams Rink

Hi.  Mel has been out of school all week with strep throat.  She's on antibiotics as of yesterday, but I think she better not play tomorrow.  Good luck!

Subject: Directions to North Adams Rink

Hi All,

OK here are the regular directions to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Rink in North Adams, MA (it's located at 1267 Church St - if anyone wants to do their own mapquest).

Take Route 7 South - through Bennington then into Massachusetts.
Take a left on Route 2 East in Williamstown (this is actually at a "rotary" so you must go 3/4 around the rotary to take the left).
Take a right onto Route 8 South as you approach North Adams.
Take a left onto Route 8A (Hodges Rd) - note this left is made on a "jug handle", so you actually go to the right to cross over.
Bear slight left, look for the rink on your left after the left curve in the road.

It takes approximately 1 hour to get to the rink from Manchester. Jay will be departing Riley Rink at 8:45am on Saturday (and he knows the shortcut, if anyone would like to follow him!).

DON'T FORGET - I NEED TO COLLECT $20 FROM EACH FAMILY FOR THE RUTLAND TOURNAMENT**

Safe driving!
Take care,
Liz
